PeekYou opt-out: the site is gone

Last checked October 14, 2026

If you came here to get your listing off peekyou.com, there's good news. The site no longer runs a people search at all.

What happened to PeekYou

peekyou.com no longer shows people-search results. The domain now shows a notice that it is controlled by Atlas Data Privacy Corporation, following a settlement in a Daniel's Law case (Atlas Data Privacy Corporation v. PeekYou LLC, ESX-L-003299-25).

What to do now

• There is nothing to opt out of on peekyou.com right now.
• If an old PeekYou page still shows up in Google, use Google's Results about you tool to ask for it to be dropped from search.

The data didn't disappear from the rest of the web, though. The same records feed dozens of other sites, so it's worth working through the active ones.
